Let's meet Ally Williams, Senior Public Relations Specialist at MediaSource!
What does your job entail?
In my role, I work heavily with client leadership to outline goals and strategies for earned media coverage. I work to cultivate relationships with and garner coverage in local, regional and national news media outlets. MediaSource specializes in multimedia journalism production and much of my job revolves around garnering coverage for our clients' content, providing strategic recommendations, and working with the news media to garner coverage for our clients and fill news media sourcing needs.

What is your favorite part about serving PRSA Central Ohio?
Connecting and collaborating with PR professionals from across the region. I enjoy hearing from my peers about their experiences as well as working with them to advance the PR industry in central Ohio. How has volunteering with PRSA Central Ohio helped you in your profession? Volunteering has given me countless opportunities to connect and learn from other members of the central Ohio PR community. I learn something new every time I get the opportunity to connect with a PRSA member and each experience has shed light on a new aspect of this career field. Further, through my roles with the organization, I have had the opportunity to fine-tune skills that are not utilized as frequently in my day-to-day work.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Hanging out with my dog, reading, playing sand volleyball, exercising with friends and trying out new restaurants around the city.
