Board Member Spotlight: Kaitlin Hall

We're shining a spotlight on our board members! Meet Kaitlin Hall, 2023 VP of Communications.
Question: What is your day job?
Answer: I'm a writer and consultant with Allerton Hill Communications, a firm dedicated to helping schools across America tell their story.
Question: How long have you been a volunteer with PRSA Central Ohio?
Answer: Six years
Question: In what roles have you served as a volunteer with PRSA Central Ohio?
Answer: I served on the communications committee for five years, where I worked on PRSA Matters, the organization's semimonthly e-newsletter, before joining the Board as VP of Communications this year.
Question: What is your favorite part about serving PRSA Central Ohio?
Answer: I love meeting new people and learning about the various roles that encompass the PR industry.
Question: How has volunteering with PRSA Central Ohio helped you in your profession?
Answer: Volunteering has helped me network and stay up to date on training and the latest trends in the PR profession.
Question: What are your hobbies?
Answer: Anything outdoors, especially activities I can do with my two German Shorthaired Pointers - from hiking, kayaking and boating to snow skiing.
Question: What can't you go a day without?
Answer: Reading (although my current stage of life means I'm lucky if I read two pages of my book each day before falling asleep).
Question: What's the top thing on your professional and/or personal to-do list right now?
Answer: Professional - Finding new ways of adding value for our clients. Personal - Spring cleaning/organizing!
