Columbus is home to several collegiate, minor-league and professional sports teams and sporting events. These organizations dedicate a lot of resources to promoting themselves and their players, driving attendance to events, and engaging with fans. 

If you want to learn more about the PR and marketing strategies behind some of Columbus' best-known sports teams, then you won't want to miss "Game On, Columbus! Elevating Pro/Collegiate Sports with Expert Marketing & PR," a luncheon program co-hosted by PRSA Central Ohio and the Columbus chapter of the American Marketing Association. 

Matt Barnes, the morning co-anchor for WCMH Channel 4 and a huge sports fan, will facilitate the panel discussion featuring:

• Todd Sharrock, vice president of PR for the Columbus Blue Jackets
• Tracy Hedrick, chief marketing officer for Ohio State athletics
• Molly Zaluski, senior director of events and grassroots marketing for the Columbus Crew

These sports marketing and PR pros will discuss everything from building loyalty among their fans to choosing the best communication channels for achieving their goals.
